What is Parent-Infant Therapy?

Parent-infant psychotherapy is a specialist modality that works with the relationship between a parent and their
baby. It is often indicated where a parent is struggling to feel connected to their baby, where there are concerns about attachment, or where the parent's own early experiences are interfering with the present relationship. Sessions may be with the parent alone, with the parent and baby together, or a combination of both parents and baby.
